The typical
adventure consists of six days of fishing and a
seven night stay. Arrival day is Sunday with
departure on the following Sunday. Our packages
start and end in the town of King Salmon,
Alaska.
Included With
Our Packages
As a guest with
Naknek Anglers you will receive; deluxe double
occupancy accommodations, all meals, use of boats
or rafts, daily guide service, housekeeping, and
daily transportation to your fishing waters by
aircraft and boats (weather permitting). Also
included, at no charge, is the use of our
top-quality fishing rods, reels, flies, lures,
other tackle, float vest, and daypacks. All
preparation, freezing, and vacuum packaging of your
fish are also included.
The rate is
$6,500 per person for this 7-night package.
Both shorter and
longer stays are also available. We will gladly do
our best to customize a trip that meets your
requests. Please contact us for the availability
and rates on such a trip.
Not Included
in Packages
Please note that
expenses for the following are not covered by the
package cost: your commercial airfare to the town
of King Salmon, a fishing license ($30.00), a King
Salmon Stamp ($30.00) - for those wanting to fish
for Kings, hunting licenses, and any gratuity that
you choose to leave for the staff.
Making a
reservation is easy. Just contact us by telephone
or by e-mail and we will assist you in finding the
dates that work best for you.
Reservation
requests will be held for 14 days pending payment
of a 50% deposit per person. The balance is due 90
days prior to the first day of your arrival.
Reservations made 90 days prior to arrival must be
paid in full at the time of confirmation. Deposits
received are non refundable unless Alaska's Naknek
Anglers is able to fill the dates in question by
another person or party.
How
To Get Here
Getting to Naknek
Anglers requires two legs of travel. The first
takes you to Anchorage, Alaska, from your city of
departure, and the second from Anchorage to the
town of King Salmon. Many travelers will find it
necessary to stay overnight in Anchorage before
continuing to King Salmon the following
morning.
The flight time
from Anchorage to King Salmon is approximately 60
minutes. A 10-minute van ride brings you to the
lodge. After a brief orientation and a quick lunch,
we will take you out fishing on the Naknek River
where you'll have the opportunity to catch huge
Trout or Salmon.
Airlines
Two commercial
airlines serve the town of King Salmon: Alaska
Airlines and Pen Air. When you have
booked a trip with us, we urge you to confirm your
travel plans with one of these two carriers.
